For 25 years Natural Health and Yoga has been a passion for Nilamani.
Her Yoga Training comes from Hatha Yoga Teachers Training 1, 2 &3 with Ashram Yoga NZ from 2002 to 2009, Naam Yoga and Shakti Naam Yoga Teacher Training in the California US from 2009 till present. These powerful practices inspired Nilamani to share her experiences and she has taught many classes, workshops, yoga dance celebrations and retreats in Auckland, Whangarei, Kerikeri, Hawkes Bay from 2002 until present.
She is a director of Naam Aotearoa New Zealand, which is part of a growing global community with centres in over 12 different countries & is recognised by the Yoga Alliance.
Now moving back to her hometown of Rotorua she looks forward to sharing the profound wisdom she has gathered to help others walk a path of abundant health and personal wellbeing.
SoulShine Yoga is a powerful practice that simultaneously and systematically brings healing to every part of the body by combining rhythm, mudra, stretching, breath, mantra and dance in one enjoyable, spiritual exercise routine. It is the science of harmonizing unhealthy cellular memories and establishing beneficial vibrations within the physical and subtle bodies. During class, students are guided through sequences that infuse every part of the body with uplifting thoughts, feelings and words. Best of all, this practice is fun, challenging and engaging, both mentally and physically. Each class culminates with meditations, which are an exciting and delightfully fresh way to keep the mind sharp, the body healthy and the spirit high!
