What are the benefits of a RunYoga Private Package?

By working together one-on-one we have the opportunity to work at the appropriate pace and explore any challenges that you may have on a deeper and more personal level....

  • You will gain an understanding of WHAT you are doing, WHY you are doing it and how it will benefit you in your sport and your general well-being.  
​
  • We will explore anatomy and physiology as well bio-mechanical habits that impact on your performance (weak glutes, tense shoulders,  asymmetry and poor balance). ​
​
  • You will learn how to CHECK-IN with yourself to identify recurring habits and how to resolve them before they have a longer-term impact on your sports performance.

The goal is to demonstrate how yoga can help improve your strength and flexibility and challenge you, so that you feel inspired and motivated to keep doing what you LOVE.

What does a Yoga Rotorua Private Package include?

  • ​​​​Prior to our first 90-minute class you will complete a questionnaire which will help identify the key challenges you are facing and how these are affecting your sports performance...SO we can tailor your RunYoga Private Package to be perfectly suited for your needs AND make sure we spend as much effective time together using yoga to get the results you deserve.

  • During our first meeting we will review these outcomes, identify which aspects of yoga will be most beneficial for you and do some initial practice in these areas. 
 
  • The following two 60-minute classes will be specifically designed to ensure that you get the most out of your yoga practice.  ​

Private classes give you the the opportunity to focus on yourself and where you want to go next in your chosen sport...
  • You will have increased confidence in your own abilities and be inspired to take on new new challenges.
  • You will gain a deeper understanding of the complementary effects of yoga and sport and how you can harness these to enhance your performance.  
  • With action, you will see marked benefits after just one session, particularly in your focus and motivation.​
  • The physical benefits of the yoga practice will take more time to manifest, but with practice you should notice improvements in your posture, technique and overall balance.
